The airport is conveniently located within minutes of the three cities in the three different countries (Switzerland, France & Germany). From an economic point of view, this border region is the beating heart thanks to the presence of numerous companies from the entire industry (pharmaceutical, chemical, transport & logistics, industrial production & banking). The region also has a lot to offer to tourists. Basle, the third largest city of Switzerland, with its impressive historic centre and over 40 museums, is well worth a visit.
