The Star Alliance network is the global leading airline network, in terms of daily flights, destinations and countries flown to and amount of member airlines. It was established in 1997 as the first truly global airline alliance to offer customers worldwide reach and a smooth travel experience.

Star Alliance

As a member of Star Alliance Brussels Airlines will be able to offer its passengers a variety of benefits, with the biggest one being the enlargement of the network. This places Brussels and Brussels Airlines on a new footing within a 26-member trans-continental alliance, and gives passengers at one stroke global reach from and via our hub in Brussels. In fact, the benefits to frequent flyers of joining Star Alliance cannot be underestimated. Passengers can now travel to 1269 destinations throughout 193 countries* within a single network, and can rely on smooth transits throughout the route, as well as efficient baggage transfers and lounge access worldwide.

Miles & More members can accumulate and redeem miles on all Star Alliance member airlines. Plus, with over 1.000 locations, the Star Alliance lounge network is the largest in the world.
